RecoveryAs my mind grew more twisted,

And my body became more addicted,

I sank ever deeper into a drug addled craze.

I thought I was forever trapped in that dark, exitless maze.

But then into the darkness, someone shone a light.

It broke through the haze of my eternal night.

The light illuminated the road less traveled,

As I walked it, my knotted mind slowly unraveled.

After awhile, I realized I was finally free.

I had taken the path of happy destiny.
